Coldplay- A Rush Of Blood To The Head (2002)

Album Rating: 5 Stars (Best Album Of The 2000's So far)



Man, you can say Coldplay's for gays all you want due to Chris Martin's singing and their Piano in the songs, but they really rock, especially on this album. "Politik" is a straight on assult from the band, while "God Put A Smile Upon Your Face" is full of acoustic guitar next to electric guitar. "Clocks" is quite possibly the greatest song ever written, with its familliar piano line. Amsterdam is a great way to end an album or concert. "The Scientist" is that slow number that anyone can love. This is the best album of the 2000's, period.

U2-Achtung Baby (1991)

Album Rating: 5 Stars (True Classic) [Highly Recomended]



Another Great Album, reallly the turning point for U2 in terms of sucess. Probably my favorite album, with a few great songs. "One", "Until The End Of The World", "The Fly", and "Acrobat" are better songs than anything put out in 2006, and some of my favorite songs of all time. Really electroniclly influenced (especially on "Zoo Station", etc.), but still has classic guitar,bass,and drums U2 as well("One", "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses"). Great Lyrics on the aformentioned "One", "Until The End Of The World", "So Cruel", and "Love Is Blindness". Download this album now.

Album Rating: ✭✭✭✭✭ (True Classic) [Highly Recomended]



A true great album, one of my all-time favorites, complete with two of my favorite songs (Policy Of Truth and Enjoy the Silence). This album is very electronic, as heard by the opening sound on "World In My Eyes", and the Intros to "Halo" and "Blue Dress". A dark album, the lyrics are amazing, especially on "Enjoy The Silence" and "Waiting For The Night". Depeche Mode also proved they could play country and guitar as well with "Personal Jesus". Great Album to dance to as well.
