Wilco's breakthrough is a somewhat misleading album. It gets tagged as "Alt-Country", but there is alot of rock here ("Monday", "I Got You (At The End Of The Century)", And the Outtasite/Outtamind series). Beautiful Country like stuff appears on "Hotel Arizona", "The Lonely 1", and "Far, Far, Away"). The two disc openers "Misunderstood" and "Sunken Treasure" are both long, and contain alot of rock and slow sections. "Dreamer In My Dreams" is the perfect wrap-up of the album, With slow stuff, heavy rock, and a wild jam ending that knocks us out. This is an album to be messed with..listen to it now.
